Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical SQA Engineer to join our growing tech team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our web and mobile applications. You will work closely with developers and product teams to identify issues early, design effective test cases, and ensure smooth, bug-free releases.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications.

Perform manual and automated testing across different platforms and devices.

Conduct functional, regression, smoke, and performance testing.

Identify, document, and track software defects using tools like JIRA, Trello, or equivalent.

Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to ensure quality at every stage of the SDLC.

Review and analyze system specifications and requirements.

Contribute to continuous process improvements and testing standards.

Assist in setting up and maintaining test automation frameworks.

Validate bug fixes and perform re-testing before deployments.

Requirements

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

2–4 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.

Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.

Hands-on experience with manual testing and exposure to automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Postman).

Good understanding of API testing, database testing, and performance testing concepts.

Familiarity with version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab).

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying issues.

Good communication and documentation skills.
